Create SVN Repository from Existing Project

Initially creating a repository in SVN is a little clunky in that you start your project, then you create the repository from that project, but then you have to checkout the repository over that initial project so you can check in future updates. Also, if your project directory name differs from the repository directory name, the initial checkout will create a new directory for the project. Using tar and find can help you through this initial stage.

First, to create an SVN directory, you execute:
svnadmin create /path/to/repository/projectname

Secondly, given your project directory, project_dev, you import the project using:
svn import /path/to/project_dev file:///path/to/repository/projectname -m "first import"

Third, you have to create a working copy of the repository. This is where you checkout the project and it includes all the .svn directories:
svn co /path/to/repository/projectname

This will create the directory projectname containing the project. You now haveproject_dev that is not under SVN control and projectname which is. 

In some cases,project_dev may be under a webserver or other sorts of configuration which you do not want to disrupt.

The best thing to do is just pull out all the .svn files from projectname using tar and find:

cd /path/to/projectname
tar -vcf svn.tar `find . -name .svn`
or
find ./project_dev -name .svn | xargs tar -cvf svn.tar

The will tar all the .svn directories. Now move svn.tar to project_dev and unpack:
mv svn.tar /path/to/project_dev
cd /path/to/project_dev
tar -xvf svn.tar

The .svn directories then unpack into the project_dev directory structure. From here,project_dev is under SVN control. You may delete projectname (not the repository, of course).

Auto login su macchina windows già appartenente a dominio

E' possibile configurare il login automatico con utente predefinito anche per una macchina già inserite in un dominio Windows.

Questo permette di evitare che l'utente debba loggare con user/password e risulta utile soprattutto quando la macchina è destinata a diversi utenti. IN questo modo lggano su un profilo predefinito senza la necessità di comunicare loro la pwd

Ecco i passi da seguire:

1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. In Windows Vista/7, simply typeregedit in Start Search and hit Enter.
2. Navigate to the following registry key:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
3. Double-click the DefaultUserName entry, type the user name to log on with, and then click OK.
   If DefaultUserName registry value name is not found, create a new String Value (REG_SZ)with value name as DefaultUserName.
4. Double-click the DefaultPassword entry, type the password for the user account under the value data box, and then click OK.
   If there is no DefaultPassword value, create a new String Value (REG_SZ) withDefaultPassword as the value name.
   Note that if no DefaultPassword string is specified, Windows automatically changes the value of the AutoAdminLogon registry key from 1 (true) to 0 (false) to turn off theAutoAdminLogon feature.
5. In Windows Vista/7, DefaultDomainName has to be specified as well, else Windows will prompt for invalid user name with the user name displayed as .\username. To do so, double click onDefaultDomainName, and specify the domain name of the user account. If it’s local user, specify local host name.
   If the DefaultDomainName does not exist, create a new String Value (REG_SZ) registry key with value name as DefaultDomainName.
6. Double-click the AutoAdminLogon entry, type 1 in the Value Data box, and then click OK.
   If there is no AutoAdminLogon entry, create a new String Value (REG_SZ) withAutoAdminLogon as the value name.
7. If it exists, delete the AutoLogonCount key.
8. Also if it exists, delete the AutoLogonChecked key.
9. Quit Registry Editor.
10. Click Start, click Restart, and then click OK.

GMail / GApps Mail - Disattivare raggruppamento E-Mail in un'unica conversazione

Il raggruppamento delle email in thread ha da subito caratterizzato l'interfaccia di GMail e, quella che nel 2005 era una novità, è stata gradualmente adottata anche dalla concorrenza.

Per disabilitare questa funzionalità del client web based è sufficiente cambiare le impostazioni di Gmail (https://mail.google.com/mail/#settings/general)

Smart Extension for GMail *****
Riporta sul polso la notifica ma anche contenuti della mail. IN caso di puà mail ricevute, queste possono essere scorse facendo scivolare Orizzontalmente il dito sullo SW2. Gestisce anche più account di posta. Le opzioni sono gestite dal telefono stesso.

Smart Extension for Facebook ***

Come da titolo notifica gli eventi proveniente da Facebook.
Sostituibile con Watchify qualora si preferisse il suo modo di notifica.

Smart Extension for Twitter ***

Come da titolo notifica gli eventi proveniente da Twitter.
Sostituibile con Watchify qualora si preferisse il suo modo di notifica.

Watchify ***** 
Tutte ma proprio tutte le notifiche possono essere catturate e gestite con questa app che potrebbe sostituire anche GMail, Facebook o Twitter. Sicuramente indispensabile per gestire notifiche da Hangout e WhatsApp perché al momento non esiste nulla di dedicato ne di meglio. Raccomandabile per Google+ e Calendario perché personalmente preferisco il suo stile di notifica. (read more) DA INSTALLARE! 

Find Phone *****

Utilissimo per ritrovare il cellulare perso nel raggio della copertura bluetooth.
Una volta attivata la app, premendo il flag verde si attiva la suoneria scelta a tutto volume.. sperando sia sufficiente a sentirlo.

Call handling smart extension *****

Ottimo gestore delle telefonate perché unisce tastiera telefonica, log delle chiamate, rubrica e contatti preferiti un un unica app: il tutto molto ben fruibile e chiaro.

Missed Call smart extension ****

In caso di perdita di una telefonata, magari in un momento di lontananza dal telefono, lo sw2 viene allertato non appena si rientra bella copertura bluetooth.
La vibrazione quindi richiama attenzione sulla notifica della chiamata persa indicando anche il chiamante.

Utile per consultare rapidi appunti presi sul cellulare.
Lista della spesa, dettagli di un articolo, recapito o indirizzo... tutto leggibile dal polso.

Camera smart extension ****

Si comanda la fotocamera del cellulare dal polso.. quasi come un agente segreto. E' possibile selezionare la modalità filmato o fotocamera e quindi riprendere la scena. Volendo può essere usata come SpyCamera visto che le immagini vengono trasmesse al polso.

GMAIL Undo Sending Annullare invio di una EMail

Undo sending your mail

If you make a typo or regret sending a message, you can undo the action by enabling the "Undo send" lab. This lab will give you the option to take back a message you just sent.

To enable the lab:

1. Click the  gear in the top right.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click the Labs tab.
4. Find the "Undo Send" lab and select the Enable radio button.
5. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Select the amount of time you have to undo sending a message by clicking the gear icon , and finding the "Undo Send:" section in the General tab of your Settings.

Annullare l'invio di una mail

Se hai commesso un errore di battitura o rinnunci alla spedizione di un email già inviata, puoi annullare l'azione abilitando la funzione "Annulla Invio". Questo ti darò la possibilità ti far tornare indietro e riportare il messaggio alla fase di editing nello stato in cui lo hai appena spedito.

Per abilitare questa funzione:

1. Click la rotella  in alto a destra.
2. Scegliere Impostazioni.
3. Clickare il tab Labs .
4. Cerca e trova "Undo Send" lab e ablitalo.
5. Click Salva in fondo alla pagina.

Scegli il periodo di tempo che vuoi avere per annullare la spedizioneclickando la rotella , cercando "Annulla Invio" nel tab Generali della sezione Impostazioni.
